Which Suunto products are you using?

A Suunto t6 when I run and I often use the Foot POD in trail, especially during the ultra-distance races.

I use a X6HR titanium the rest of the time and for most outdoor activities.
For diving I use a D9.

What’s the best thing about your Suunto?

They are excellent products: precise, resistant and reliable. I’ve used a Vector for 10 years in extreme places such as the Amazon jungle, on 8000m peaks and in deserts. The same goes for the t6, Comfort Belt and Foot POD that I used at 5500m during the Everest Sky Race.

They perfectly meet my needs, no matter what I do.

Most memorable sporting moment?

There are too many to name one in particular and I’m always so excited and focused on the next project that I do not think too much about the past ones.

Story:

Frenchman, Philippe Gatta has climbed over 200 peaks in his career including Mt Everest and the seven summits (the highest peaks in each of the world's continents).

He is also an established long distance runner, covering over 40,000km in total across varied terrain such as the Sahara Desert, Amazon Jungle and in Nepal.

Add to the mix his world class climbing ability and you have the complete outdoor all-rounder.
