Story
Alexander and Thomas Huber, are recognized of the world's best extreme and alpine climbers of our time.

Better known collectively as the Huber Brothers, or Huberbuam, their farther, Thomas Huber Senior, was an extraordinary climber in his own right, with early ascents of many of the great Alpine faces to his credit. During their childhood the brothers were introduced into the world of mountain sports, climbing dozens of 4000m high peaks in their early years.

As they began to explore the vertical world on their own, the first significant ascents of their careers were recorded. Alexander became one of the first to climb the magic grade 9a and Thomas free-climbed the 350-meter high, grade 8b "The End of Silence" in 1994 - 8b being one of the hardest alpine routes at that time.

However, they are not limited to rock-climbing but are considered all-rounders and are active in all kinds of mountaineering around the world.

The ascents of some of the hardest mountains of the world such the Ogre, Latok II or Shivling are on their list of accomplishments, as are free ascents on the walls of El Capitan in the Californian Yosemite Valley, the traversal of Cerro Standhardt in Patagonia and free solo ascents of extreme faces of the Alps.

In 2003 the duo set a speed climbing record on El Capitan's Zodiac face, ascending the 600m wall in just 1hr 51min 34sec, a climb most mountaineers need days to complete.

They were the stars of a film released in 2007 titled 'On the Limit' which showed them attempting a speed climbing record on El Capitan's most famous route, the Nose. Although they failed to make the record on camera, they eventually set a new record of 2hr 45min 45sec in October, 2007. See the highlights of the film on Suunto TV.

Other more recent highlights have included first ascents on peaks in Patagonia and Antarctica as well as the first free ascent of Nameless Tower in Pakistan in July 2009.
