Suunto Ambassador Kylie Thomas becomes World Sport Aerobic Champion

Suunto Ambassador Kylie ThomasAustralian aerobics athlete, Kylie Thomas is the new World Sport Aerobic Champion after a stunning performance at the World Championships, which were held in Martinique in the Caribbean on December 1-5, 2009.

Thomas, who is also this year’s South Australian and Australian National Champion, won both preliminary and semi finals and went into the final as the athlete to beat.

“I went in to the final as favourite to take out the title and was very happy when the final scores were flashed up on the screen,” said Thomas.

“It is an amazing feeling and I would like to very much thank Suunto for their amazing support during the year!”

Thomas, 29, has been a runners-up at the 2004 world championships and was third in 2008. She has been a national champion previously in 2003, and lives and works in Adelaide, Australia.
